M.Ed., LPC/LPCC, NCC

I was drawn to counseling out of a passion for connection and helping others. Mental health matters deeply to me because I believe pain can be just a moment and, in that moment, we can find clarity, healing, and peace. Pain doesn’t define us; sometimes we just need someone to walk alongside us. The most meaningful part of my work is helping clients improve their quality of life and gain a sense of calm.

Outside of the therapy room, you’ll find me spending time with my husband, daughter, and our four pets (2 dogs and 2 cats). As a family, we enjoy being outdoors, playing cards or board games, spending time with others, and discovering new foods. Personally, I find peace through yoga or simply sitting on a patio, soaking in the scenery or listening to a live band.

My approach

I believe everyone’s path to healing is unique, and I’m here to support and empower you through yours. I take a holistic view, focusing on the whole person to foster growth, self-understanding, and healing. My style is warm, inviting, and direct. I value the power of the therapeutic relationship, taking the time to truly get to know you. Collaboration and independent thinking are important in my work, and I often invite humor into sessions when appropriate, as it can be a powerful tool for healing even in difficult moments.

I use a strong emphasis on pairing relational cultural and humanistic philosophies while also implementing components of mindfulness self-compassion and cognitive behavioral, narrative, and solution focused modalities.

I’m here to support you in finding your own version of mysa-whatever that looks like for you.
